What to Do When You Are STRESSED OUT!

Are you in a stressful situation today? Are the problems of life rolling in on you so that it looks like it’s all over for you? Are you facing a situation in which there seems to be no way out?

Lindsay and I want to share with you what we do during stressful times in our work, our individual lives, and in our family. Like you, we face stressful situations every day, and some days more than others.

The first thing we do is go to the Bible. Stress can overwhelm you to the point where you are both confused and exhausted… mentally, emotionally, and physically.

The Bible says in Hebrews 4:12, however, “The Word that God speaks is alive and full of power – making it active, operative, energizing and effective” (Amplified Version).

The Word of God is LIFE-giving. It pumps life back into your spirit, and then that life flows from your spirit to your mind, body, and emotions. Are you exhausted today from stress? Curl up in a big comfortable chair in a quiet room and immerse yourself in the Word of God!

The Bible also says that the Word of God is a “lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). The Word of God will give you direction; it will show you what to do and which way to turn. Is life confusing today because of the stress you are under? Go to the Word of God!
