Uncompromising Faith

From the archives of Oral Roberts

Are you facing a problem that seems to defy solution? Are you on a trail that seems to have no end? If so, I want to encourage you with a message that jumps off the pages of God’s Word: DON’T QUIT! From Genesis to Malachi, from Matthew to Revelation, God tells us that uncompromising faith is rewarded!

The apostle Paul is an example of a person whose faith never wavered. In II Timothy 4:6 he said:

The time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight,

         I have finished my course,

         I have kept the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…

         and not to me only,

but unto all of them also

         that love his appearing.

By faith, Paul saw the eternal reward that awaited his uncompromising faith.

There is no victory in compromise. Compromising means settling for less, and in the end, even that is lost because whatever you gain through compromise is only temporary.

If you put your problem in God’s hands and trust Him, you can receive heaven’s best. With God, problems are solvable and fears can be conquered. Your needs are pressing and the challenges to your faith are real, but the power potential of faith that does not fluctuate is unlimited!
