The New Testament is made up partly of a series of letters, and although they are over two thousand years old, they have been kept alive by the power of the Holy Spirit. Because letters are so powerful, I decided years ago to send a teaching letter each month to anyone who wrote to me. And now my son, Richard, and his wife, Lindsay, have joined me. Our goal is to minister, and we know that a word from the Lord can transform a person’s attitude toward life.
And that is what has happened over the years. Wherever I go, people tell me how the Lord has used these letters to minister to them in a personal way. Some will even pull out a letter written to them years ago, ragged from having been read so many times, because of its continuous ability to minister. That’s what our letters are all about… giving our Partners something from the Word of God that they can go to bed with, wake up with, and face life with.
In our letters we always include a place for our Partners to respond back to us and send their prayer requests. This enables us to set ourselves in agreement with them in prayer, for Matthew 18:19 NKJV says, “If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
