The Healer

Richard Roberts

Jesus is a healing Jesus. Matthew 4:23 NKJV tells us that Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their Synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. When you read the four Gospels and the book of Acts, you see that Jesus was either on His was to heal somebody, He was there healing them, or He was on His way to heal someone else.

Hebrews 13:8 says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, which means He is still healing people. Do you need healing in your body? In your finances? In your emotions? Use these Scriptures as a point of contact to lift your faith to God and receive His healing touch:

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. –Psalm 103:2-3 NKJV

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

“You shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I [God] will take sickness away from the midst of you.”–Exodus 23:25 NKJV

The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. –James 5:15-16 NKJV
