Jesus Has Time

As I’ve studied the life of Jesus, I’ve come to this conclusion: Jesus always had time for a healing miracle. No matter where He was going…what He was doing…how tired He was…or how difficult the need…Jesus took time to heal all who came to Him. If someone in need crossed His path, He stopped to help them.
There was a time when Jesus was about to enter the City of Nain just as a funeral procession was leaving the city. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out–the only son of his mother, and she was a widow… He went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother (Luke 7:12, 14-15 NIV).
There was the time when a woman with an issue of blood made her way through the crowd, determined to touch Jesus’ garment, and He stopped and took time for her. Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment (Matthew 9:22 NIV).
There was the time when a centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant, and He quickly responded (Luke 7:1-10).
And there was the time when Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem and a blind man named Bartimaeus shouted out to Him, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped to heal him (Mark 10:46-52).
Jesus was never too busy to heal those who were hurting in Bible days, and He isn’t too busy to heal you today.
