How to Multiply Your Time

Lindsay Roberts

The reality of my busy workload suddenly hit me! I was trying to work on our television program, be a good wife, manage our home, cook dinners, attend all the social appointments…

It seems to me that working mothers, in particular, are being torn and ripped and pulled… especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We know we have responsibilities to our families and on our jobs, and it takes a lot of our time to meet those responsibilities. There is almost no time left for ourselves. It’s a struggle just to accomplish what has to be done.

If you are as much in need of extra time because of your workload as I am, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will find peace. Richard reminded me of Philippians 4:6˗7, which says, Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Peace that goes beyond human understanding comes when you cast your cares upon God who cares for you. You can trust Him to help you.

I have learned that if you will give your time to God, He will multiply that time back to you. He will teach you how to use your time just right and divide it properly. I believe God will help you to fulfill your responsibilities at home and on the job, and to reach a point where you actually have some time left over for you!
