Everybody is sick in some way. It may be sickness in your body. It may be sickness in your mind—grief or a haunting memory you can’t shake. It may be an emotional sickness, or a broken heart. It may be torment from the devil; a spiritual sickness. It may be sickness in your finances.
It’s the devil’s business to try to keep you sick. He comes to rob you of your health. He comes to kill your body, mind, and emotions. He comes to keep you from God so you will die in hell. He comes to destroy every part of your being, even your memory.
But the good news of Jesus is that He is a healing Jesus. Have you noticed that throughout Jesus’ ministry He was always on the way to heal someone or He had just come from healing someone?
“Be thou made whole.” That was Jesus’ message!
Jesus comes to give you life today. As the Bible says, “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26). Jesus is the Lord of healing for your life right now.
I invite you to lay your hand on your own body, signifying the outstretched hand of Jesus to you, and to pray this prayer with me: “Father, I ask You to heal me today. Cause Your Holy Spirit to move from the top of my head to the tip of my toes and to rid my body of all disease and affliction, of anything that would keep me from being made whole. I trust You and You alone for wholeness. And I expect a miracle! I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen! “
