He Gave Us His Word

I want to share three things about healing which relate to the choices we have in life. If you want to choose to accept the good report, that is your choice. If you want to choose to accept the bad report, that is your choice. No one can make that choice for you. What I can do is point you to the Word of God and show you some logical, practical reasons to choose the Word of God, and then you can make those choices for yourself.

The first thing you need to know is that it’s God’s will to heal you. Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. If you don’t know the Word of God, you’re basically lacking knowledge in everything, because everything that you ever need to know in the entire world is in the Word of God in some form. If you think healing is not in the Bible, it’s because you haven’t read the Word. If you think salvation is for you and that’s it, go to the Word. If you think you can be saved and maybe healed, but prosperity is certainly not for you, then go to the Word. Whatever you have need of, in some way, shape, or form, is in the Word of God. But unless you get out the Manual and read the Instruction Book you’ll never know what’s in the Word of God.

Look up Scriptures like Matthew 8:17, which tells us that Jesus Himself took our infirmities. He bore our sicknesses, and He carried our griefs. That means that when He went to the Cross, He had a package with Him and that package was sickness, disease, infirmity, poverty, and everything and anything that is unlike God. He wrapped it all up in a package, took it to Calvary, and placed it on the Cross. He crucified it there on the Cross so that you and I don’t have to live a life of nothing but destruction. Jesus defeated sin. He destroyed it! But you won’t know that if you don’t find it in the Word of God.

God told us in Jeremiah 1:12 that He not only gave us His Word but that He also watches over His Word to perform it!
