Faith Is Your Biggest Asset

Richard RobertsFaith Series – Sixth of six parts

No matter how strong you are in your natural body, or how well-trained you are in your mind, or how much money you have in the bank, or how many assets you have acquired… If you aren’t strong in your faith, you have a weakness.

One day when two blind men were following Jesus, they began crying. “Thou son of David, have mercy on us.” Jesus turned and asked them just one question. “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” They said, “Yea, Lord.” Jesus then said, “According to your faith, be it unto you.” (See Matthew 9:27–29.)

Jesus didn’t say “according to your fame.” He didn’t say “according to your fortune.” He didn’t say “according to your fate.” He said “according to your FAITH.”

I believe that using your faith is the best way to get your needs met in life. God has given to each person the measure of faith (Romans 12:3), but it’s not enough just to have it. We must use it. If you have all the money in the world but didn’t use it to buy food, you would starve to death. Well, faith is like that. We need to release our faith, and let go of it, and use it to touch God. That’s why I wrote the book, “How You Can Touch Heaven with Your Faith,” because I believe we have faith, but we must learn how to release it to God and expect miracles.
