Build on Faith

Lindsay Roberts

My father died when I was a small child, which left my mother with problems that there seemed to be no way out of. But…God delivered us!

Because I saw my mother pray, and I saw it work, I followed her example. And now, as a mother of three girls, I, too, pray for God’s deliverance when I see no earthly way to overcome the circumstances.

Peter tells us in Acts 10:34, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. What He will do for one, He’ll do for somebody else. So, in times of “no way out,” I use my faith and my experience of what I have seen God do for my family all these years. I believe that according to my faith, by the power and authority of the Word of God, we will be delivered!

If you are sitting in a situation or circumstance where you are trying to build your faith and all you get is doubt, stop, turn your head, plug your ears, and close your eyes. If you are the only one who is believing, continue to believe. You may be the only one, but you and God make a majority. If the people around you don’t see it that way, ask God to send you a partner who will agree with you according to His Word in Matthew 18:19, That if two of you shall agree on earth… it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Begin believing God to touch and transform your life with the anointing and the power of God. I believe that when you begin to believe, when you expect, when you stretch forth and release your faith, the anointing of God will change your situation!
