7 Seasons for the Sower

By Richard Roberts

What God Has for You as You Give to His Kingdom in Faith

The Lord recently woke me up out of a sound sleep to give me a message for my partners and friends. God sees and treasures every seed you sow into His kingdom. In fact, He has shown me about 7 New Seasons coming into the life of a sower. To those who sow, there is coming…

  1. A new season of ABUNDANCE.

You may have faced difficulties, walked dangerous paths, or been in a wilderness experience. Some have even said, “Where is God?” But the Lord is saying that as we sow, and sow now, abundance is coming (Luke 6:38). “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

  1. A new season of JOY.

Maybe you have experienced sorrow, pain, disappointments, depression, fear, worry, anxiety, or even loneliness. But the Lord said He is sending joy into the life of those who sow…joy unspeakable and full of glory— the type of joy that the Bible says is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10; 1 Peter 1:8). Expect God’s joy and strength to come upon you as you give to Him, spend time with Him, and trust Him for miracles.

  1. A new season of PEACE.

This is not the kind of peace the world gives, but the Lord’s peace…the peace of God that passes all understanding. I’m talking about the peace of Christ ruling and reigning in your heart (Philippians 4:7; Colossians 3:15). That means rest from the weariness of the battle. If you’ve been facing challenges, the Lord has peace for you!

  1. A new season of FAVOR.

Perhaps you have experienced closed doors or hardened hearts, but there is coming a new season of favor with God and man (Proverbs 3:3-4). That’s increase, promotion, checks in the mail. That’s honor from the Lord and with people. “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12).

  1. A new season of HARVEST.

I hear the Lord saying, “When you sow unto Me, I will use it for My glory in the earth, then multiply it back to you. Not according to the world’s standards, but by heaven’s standards.” Now, that’s a harvest! The Bible teaches us not to be weary in our well-doing and that we shall reap in due season (Galatians 6:9). So as you sow, expect your harvest and get ready to receive it. Call it in by faith!

  1. A new season of His POWER in your life.

That’s the Holy Spirit working in your life and confirming the word of the Lord to you. “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you” (John 14:26). More so than ever, the Lord is empowering His people by His Holy Spirit with a new and fresh touch of His mighty power… power to be witnesses for Him. That means God confirming His Word with miracles, signs, and wonders following. Acts 4 says that when they prayed, “the place was shaken (with the power of God) and they spoke the word with boldness.”

  1. A new season of INTIMACY with God.

That means a new and even closer relationship with the Lord, answered prayers, and God’s purpose being fulfilled in our lives. “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). As we turn to Him and seek Him with all our hearts, He will reveal Himself to us and bring us into the special place of intimacy with Him. I like to think of the word intimacy as “into-me-see”—God looking into my soul and showing me His mighty purposes in my life.

I believe all these seven seasons are coming into the lives of those who will sow into God’s kingdom, especially as we share His saving, healing, delivering power with our world. I’m standing in faith with you for these seven seasons of harvest in your life as you sow to Him, in Jesus’ name!
