Honduras: February 2

Pastors at Conference

Pastors at Conference

Hi, everyone! The team and I have arrived safely in Honduras. We’re just the first day into this crusade, and we’ve already seen miracles! I met with several members of the press today, and two of them—a reporter and a camera man—received healing when I prayed for them. I also spoke to a group of over 2,000 pastors and their families and guests, sharing ministry tips to help them be a blessing to their people. God is good!

We also held the first of five medical clinics. Today, we worked with a local church in a poor section of Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. Our doctors saw 550 patients! People began lining up at 4 AM because they were so eager to receive help. A 75-year-old farmer named Jose told us he came from Trojes, a city bordering Nicaragua four hours away, just to attend our clinic.

Glenda's Children

Glenda's Children

35-year-old Glenda came with her three children, Eduardo (11), Janette (5), and Glenda Paola (4). She spends her days watching her children and caring for her mother, who is in a wheelchair. Glenda told us that it is hard for her to get medical help for her family because the local clinics are costly and often run out of the medicines her children need.

Valentina, a single mother aged 49, told us that she has been unable to get to a doctor for her own problems because when she doesn’t work, she can’t afford to feed her three children. She can’t afford medicine either, and that is one reason she was grateful for the clinic.

Hunger Needs A Voice Food

Hunger Needs A Voice Food

Through Hunger Needs A Voice®, we gave nutritious meals and dried fruits, vitamins, and medicine to every family we saw at the clinic. This gift of life—food, medical attention, and prayer—is already blessing the people of Honduras!
