Today, our team traveled to La Ceiba, a city where the economy has been hit hard and the local people struggle to find employment. Our medical team saw more than 400 families today, many of them discouraged, depressed, and anxious by life by the Basural, the garbage dump where they make their home.

Our prayer counselors did amazing work today. They ministered the life-giving Word of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit, along with the Honduran prayer team. People’s countenances brightened as they told of their pain leaving after prayer. Healings were happening in bodies, minds, and spirits.

Preaching

And tonight, we held the final crusade of this Honduras trip. We had a temporary power outage, but I kept preaching until the power came back on! Let me tell you this: The people of La Ceiba had strong faith to receive healing. So many people were able to walk without their crutches and wheelchairs.

Gang Leader Prays to Receive Jesus

Gang Leader Prays to Receive Jesus

The greatest miracle was witnessed when a gang member came up on stage who was healed of pain from a stab wound. He gave his life to Jesus as I led him in the sinner’s prayer. At the end of the evening, when I gave the altar call, I couldn’t count the hands that went up, there were so many! Glory to God! Thank you friends and Partners—you helped make this outreach a life-changing experience for the people of Honduras.

We finished our second day in San Pedro Sula. What an amazing time we had! The day started with pouring rain, but after the team and I prayed, the weather cleared—sunny and perfect for the day’s outreach. (more…)

Bus Ride in Mountains

Bus Ride in Mountains

Today we had another exciting day in the Lord. Our team left Tegucigalpa and traveled over four hours by bus, through the mountains to San Pedro Sula. It’s the second largest city in Honduras. Here, the rainy season can get so bad that it can drive people out of their homes.

Our doctors, nurses, and feeding team visited a public school in the Bordos, an area of San Pedro Sula that is quite poor. The people there rarely go to the doctor because they simply cannot afford to pay for a visit to the local clinic.

Many of the children in the Bordos don’t eat regular meals, and some had not eaten at all today. We gave 400 families food that they can cook tonight to feed their hungry children. Your support of Hunger Needs A Voice really made a difference to these people.

Tomorrow, our team will treat more people there, and then we will have our evangelistic crusade at night. We expect many salvations and healing prayers to come about as the people open their hearts to the Lord! Please continue to pray for this mighty work that God is doing in Honduras.
