Let’s rise up and shine like never before…

Dear Partner,

I’m excited to share with you new insight God has put on my heart on a subject I’ve been talking with you about for some time now. I believe this message will get you on the path for a better life and change you in ways you may not even expect. Please… let this message get deep down into your spirit!

I’ve been teaching a lot lately from Isaiah chapter 60, verses 1 through 7, about the fact that the Bible says the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. And about how that wealth is going to come into the hands of God’s people during His end-time transfer of wealth, which, in fact, has already begun! Every prophetic word that I have heard recently has had to do with the end-time transfer of wealth.

So, let’s break it down and dig a little deeper into exactly what you and I need to be doing and focusing our faith on in order for us to receive this transfer of finances…to be in a position to receive what God’s “camels”—the carrier of His provision and favor—are bringing. It’s so important… We don’t want to miss it! It’s God’s plan for ushering in the end-time harvest of souls before Jesus’ return to this earth.

Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. —Isaiah 60:1

You might ask, “Richard, what exactly is God asking me to do?”

Well, in many instances in the Bible where a particular verse of scripture starts out with a command – an action or something to be done—there is an understood “you” in front of it. That means YOU have to do something.

The Bible says in James 2:17, “Faith, if not accompanied by action, is dead.” YOU have to take the first step of faith to get the desired or promised result, which in this case is the glory of the Lord rising upon you.

So, this scripture is telling you to ARISE…that means YOU get up on the inside, in your spirit man. YOU stand. YOU endure. YOU can become powerful because of the Holy Spirit who lives in you and works through you (Ephesians 3:20).

Jesus said to the man at the pool of Bethesda, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” He was talking to his spirit man…the man on the inside…because the man had been down for 38 years. Jesus was telling him to rise up on the inside with his faith so he could rise up physically on the outside and walk.

And with God’s help, you can do it too! You can Arise! He will help you if you ask Him to. But you have to make the decision to act. God wants you to come forth, to break out, to be all that you can be for Him.

Now, Isaiah not only says to “Arise”, but to “Shine.” To shine means that you, your life, is illuminated because the Lord is making His face to shine upon you. Philippians 2:14-15 says, Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

You know, when you’ve “seen the light” so to speak, you don’t want to live surrounded by darkness anymore. And when your life begins to shine, when the radiance of the light of God’s love begins to shine out of you…His power and glory will be evident in your life, and others will begin to see something different in you. They’ll begin to want what you have.

When you begin to shine, to walk out of the darkness… when you become successful and begin to prosper, people are going to begin to ask you questions like, “How did you do that?” “What’s different about you?” That will be your opportunity to witness for the Lord and His goodness.

Verse 5 in Isaiah 60 says, Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The “abundance of the sea” here is talking about mankind, the sea of humanity. And that’s how the end-time transfer of wealth will take place and the harvest of souls will be gathered in… And you can be a part of it.

I believe if there ever was a time for the Body of Christ to stand up and take our place—our authority—in God, NOW IS THAT TIME! We have to arise and shine… for our unsaved loved-ones, our unsaved co-workers, our neighborhoods, our cities, and our nations.

2 Timothy 1:7 in the Amplified Bible says, For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. I’m telling you, God’s people have to get up… We have to arise and shine. We can no longer be afraid to say something that might offend someone because we’re talking about Jesus or the Gospel.

In Ephesians 6:18-20, Paul asked the Ephesian Church to pray for him, that he might “proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news, and in proclaiming it, that he would be courageous in speaking it.” We can do the same thing. God will honor our sincere desire to witness for Him.

“For your light has come!”

Notice the scripture does not say the light, but your light. That means the radiance, the glory of God, His immediate power and presence, will be on you. People who don’t know or understand the power of the Gospel message, will be drawn to you because of your light…the light of God’s love pouring from you.

“And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

God’s glory… That means His presence and everything that comes along with it… His splendor, His great goodness, His honor… will come upon us. That word “glory” also means weightiness or heaviness. We’re to be heavy with the glory of God. The world may be covered over with a thick cloud of darkness (spiritual darkness), but God’s glory will be upon us, and our light will be so bright in that darkness that many will see it and will want to know why we have it and ask how they can have it also.

But…Perhaps you’re feeling a different kind of heaviness in your spirit, one that’s not from the glory of the Lord. It’s a heaviness the devil brings. Perhaps it’s the heaviness of depression or the heaviness of loneliness or sickness. Maybe it’s the heaviness of financial difficulties or the heaviness of guilt or shame. Maybe you feel like you don’t have any strength or power left of your own to fight it. Let me remind you that satan uses this kind of heaviness and painful experiences to discourage you. He wants you to have the exact opposite of what God wants to bring into your life (John 10:10).

Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Satan can’t be a lion, so he walks about as a lion, roaring and trying to sound tough… like he has some authority in our lives… and trying to make us believe that he can devour us. But, Partner, greater is He that is in YOU than he that is in the world. If we submit ourselves to God, and resist the devil—his lies and deceptions—with God’s Word, he has to flee (James 4:7).

You can’t live the Better Life in Christ that God wants you to live when you’re weighted down with the heaviness of the world. If you’re focused on the things the devil is trying to bring against you and trying in your own strength to overcome… you’re in danger of missing your “camels.”

Yes, if you’re not on the lookout for them, if you’re not sowing your seeds of faith to God, if you’re not giving to Him, if you’re not living your life according to His Word and in relationship with Him, then Jesus’ blessing, provision, and favor—those things intended for you as His child—will be coming your wayand you could miss it. We must do all we can do in obedience to God’s Word—we must arise and shine first— and then our provision will come and our needs will be met (Ephesians 6:13, Matthew 6:33).

My dad used to say miracles are either coming toward you, or they’re going past you, every day. Don’t miss out on the camels of God’s provision, health, healing and holiness that are coming to you to minister to you and to serve you. Arise, lift up your head, and be expecting His miracles!

More so than ever before in history, we need the light of God to shine brighter and brighter. We need the glory, the power and the presence of God to shine around us and through us to illuminate the truth of His Word.

Partner, you may be reading this letter today, and you may feel a stirring in your own spirit…. a stirring that says, “I watch Christian TV. I go to church. I read my Bible sometimes. But I’ve never made a commitment of my life to Jesus Christ. I’ve never repented of my sins or told God I’m sorry and asked Him to change me.”

Or perhaps you’ve run away from God or you’ve been hurt by someone in the Church, and you’ve turned away from the things of God. Well, to “arise and shine” as I’ve been talking about… allowing the light of God to shine through you to be the witness He has called you to be and help bring in the end-time harvest of souls… you will need to make a change…

If you’ve never asked Jesus to be your Savior and the Lord of your life, or if you’ve moved away from God and need to get back into fellowship with Him, you can do that right now. Just say this simple prayer and mean it from your heart:

O God, be merciful to me, a sinner, a backslider. I have missed the mark with my life, and I repent. I change my mind, and I turn my back on the past. I renounce the devil and his grip on my life. I believe You are the Son of God Who died for me, and I ask You to come into my heart. Lord, save me, heal me, deliver me, and set me free. Amen.

Now, if you prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has forgiven you of your sins. You are a child of God…You can say, in the authority of Jesus’ Name, I’m going to be the person that God has called me to be. If you don’t already have a Bible, get yourself one and get into the Word of God. Get to know who you are in Christ. And then, call the Abundant Life Prayer Group at (918) 495-7777 and let me know about the decision you’ve just made so I can rejoice with you.

I truly believe that there’s no better time in all of history than now to begin to give to the Lord. The world, as a whole, is not going to give to see souls saved or lives changed by the power of God. But you and I can! Your giving into this healing ministry will ensure that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will continue to go forth to proclaim His salvation, healing, and deliverance around the world and will help us continue to minister to you through television, the internet, our prayer group and more.

And, there’s also no better time to lift up your needs before the Lord and ask for His miracles. Use the enclosed Prayer and Praise Sheet to let me know your most urgent needs. I will pray and set my faith with yours for all your needs to be met by God, according to His Word in Philippians 4:19. I know that prayer changes things, and it’s my privilege to pray and believe God with you for His miracle touch on your life.

Now, I set my faith with yours for you to “Arise and Shine”… for you to come out of darkness and for the light of God to be upon you. As you release your faith to Him in obedience to His Word, may His goodness, mercy, and power come into your life as never before.

I look forward to hearing from you again soon, and to receiving your best gift this month to help usher in the end-time harvest of souls.

Your Partner for a Better Life in Christ,
