Spiritually Alive

Richard RobertsThird of three parts

The fourth phase of achieving a Spirit-led life is confirmation. This is when the Holy Spirit takes over and answers begin to come. Things begin to fall into place. It’s when you take your hands off the situation and God puts His hands on. You say, “Lord, I’m going to trust You. I’ve planted my seed, and I know You are going to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing where there shall not be room enough to receive it. I’m not going to worry. The problem is in Your hands.” Then the confirmation of the word God has given you begins to come.

After confirmation, the final phase of developing a Spirit-led life is celebration. David celebrated. Second Samuel 6:14 NKJV says that on one occasion David danced before the Lord with all his might. He rejoiced in his relationship with God!

Maybe you don’t feel that way, and you’re saying, “It’s hard to celebrate where I am right now.” That’s the time to call those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). That’s when you celebrate what you know God is doing, even though you may not see the manifestation of it.

If you’re like me, you don’t want to be one of the “walking dead” who have nothing on the inside. You want to be spiritually alive. You want to know that when Satan comes at you like a roaring lion, the One who lives in you is greater than he who is in the world (1John 4:4). God is there to take your side and fight your battles. This is one of the rewards of living a Spirit-led life.
