Lindsay Roberts – Third of three parts
The third thing you must do to receive your healing is play checkers with God. You have to make the first move. God said, “You bring the tithes and offerings in. You prove me now. You give and it shall be given unto you. You seek my face.” (See Malachi 3:10, Luke 6:38.)
You have to do your part first. You delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. You humble yourself and pray and then He will heal your land. By faith means that you have to do something first before you see evidence. (See Psalm 37:4, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Hebrews 11.) It’s time to get a heavenly revelation of who our Father is. He is our healer, our provider, our deliverer, our peace — everything that we have need of.
When God lost man in the Garden of Eden and He could not touch His people anymore as a spirit, He sent His Son, Jesus, in the form of a man so that we could have an understanding of God. Jesus said, “If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father” (see John 14:9). Jesus was crucified on the Cross, was buried, was resurrected three days later, went to be with God, and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
Jesus said, I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever (John 14:16). The Holy Spirit is on earth with us serving two purposes: to go to the throne on our behalf and to give us power. He can take our requests, our wishes, our needs, and our wants to God.
Acts 1:8 says that you receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you. The Father God gives it, the Son delivers it, and the Holy Spirit imparts it. You only have to pray to Father God in the Name of Jesus and ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to impart to you what you have need of. God watches over His word to perform it (see Jeremiah 1:12)!
